there is a lot of money to be made. companies can take more care and still make money.

pipeline issues like the OP story are known engineering issues.

and if you can't do fracking without pollution with today's technology, then we should wait uuntil it can be done without risk. and in the meanwhile, diversify the USA approach to energy generation.

Show me any major environmental issue caused by fracking. I will wait for a while because there hasn't been one.

There is literally no industrial activity known to man that is "without pollution" or "without risk."

fricking burning dung in grass huts like our ancestors did 8k years ago causes pollution.
