Are you obligated to return or because you're living out of country are you not included?
For guys our age it's really kind of extraordinary to think about the prospect of randomly being plucked out of your life and forced to join the military for a year or two. Like watching some of the older shows and movies where friends were coking and joking/worried about who would be the next to go.
Gotta be crazy. I honestly hope we never go back to that.

First time I voted was for Ford because Nixon ended the draft.
I was one of few that thought that way. Ford should have used it as he campaigned but did not.
I also shook Jimmy's hand the day he got elected. Only person in Plains that day voted for Ford I bet.
