re: How come our fans want us to lose?

Simply stated but no room here for fandom. You always read the guy who says "accepting being average" as a reason for smashing LSU at every turn as if their meaningless opinions and lives matter for LSU sports. I get it that many feel the need to express displeasure with what they see but taking on the role destroying the LSU brand then hide behind the statement of not accepting being less than #1 is lame and sad. It's ok if I chose to pull for LSU inspite of troubling times for baseball and I won't feel bad for it either inspite of purple and gold hate mongers feel about it as I have always understood my role as a fan. If I want to change that I will pursue a role that allows me that influence rather than sitting behind a keyboard stroking LSU to death at every turn
