The argument would be if you care enough to launch an airstrike after they were gassed you should care enough to let those fleeing into a safer country.

I'm not saying I agree with it but that's the obvious argument.

Maybe they should ask the actual Syrian survivors on the ground their opinion?

Sounds like they agree with Trump?

But saying this AFTER the carnage in Europe in which said refugees have perpetrated numerous atrocities of their own seems like some kinda special needs reasoning.

Not saying that refugees shouldn't be relocated, but safe zones (and, yes, those suck) are the better alternative for everyone involved.
