My two cents....I enjoy being able to watch instead of having to organize. It's a spectator sport. Lots of action.

For these events, I agree. When you are trying to coach a system and get your kids to understand rules and such, and then you play teams that are more concerned about winning meaningless tournaments than getting better, its maddening.
