If you think there is comparable talent playing district summer 7on7 then you simply haven't seen the event.

I haven't seen this event, I was referring to 7on7 as a whole. But I coach at 7on7 on the same fields that guys like LF7 and Tyron Johnson play on during the summer, not just district tournaments. Again, not directed at the event, but the "sport" as a whole.

Who argued it's identical to pad ball?

Again, see previous posts.

It's useful.

For QB/WR/DB, sure. It's much more useful when it's used to actually work on your system, but that's seldom the case when you send out 5 guys every play. And then it gets ridiculous when you see routes that simply can't happen in games due to linemen or timing or protection, that's when you really have to ask how it's making the game better on Friday.

I'm not sour on anything. I spend weeks coaching it. I think some of the points that were made about QB pressure and LB play are laughable, that's all.
