It may not be necessarily illegal, but it does paint her as an absolute liar.
Just two weeks ago she was blathering on about how she knew nothing of this unmasking business and that it was nonsense for the Trump administration to pander.
Hopefully she comes out of hiding and tries to clarify so that she can be further humiliated and shamed into irrelevance- again.

Like trump but not really as 1 lie hardly compares to the hundreds told by trump in just a couple of months (I can link to lists of hundreds of trump's verifiably false statements since Jan 20th if need be).
