Just got rid of a 2013 T&C in October (equipped with all the crap I was talking about). I had an '08 Wrangler years ago. Owned a couple of Cherokees in the '90s and '00s. In-laws are huge Chrysler/Dodge lovers. Have a 2013 300C and 2008 Ram, which they love (and owned many others before those...Jeep GC, Pacifica, Dakota, etc). Father-in-law drives cars for the local dealership (dealer trades of new vehicles), so I get to see them all. Played around in a new Pacifica late last year after they were released and was not impressed. As soon as we got the new Odyssey, even my father-in-law admitted the T&C couldn't touch it. Quality of the resolution on the cameras/screens was crap compared to our Odysseys and a Hyundai Santa Fe I had. This is where I get my info.

Sorry it isn't to the liking of fanboys.

Well just to give you a little update, the camera quality was bad in the 2013 because the 2013's didn't have the upgraded 8.4" Uconnect. So I agree, the Uconnect was shitty in your 2013. But that's the problem, come on here and shite all over a brand over an info-tainment system that doesn't exist anymore. Just do a little bit of searching and you'd see your gripe is no longer valid.

The Odyssey is a great vehicle, so is the Sienna, but the new Pacifica is also good. The only issue with it is that it's 100% new, so it could have some small issues and in that case a new Odyssey is probably a better recommendation. I just get a kick out of everyone that trashes brands for issues that don't and can't exist.

Did you completely overlook the part where I said I get to play with these cars a good bit thanks to my father-in-law's involvement with our local dealer? Again, not impressed. The Pacifica is definitely a move in the right direction, but it's still not the best minivan on the market. It does look good and the features are nice. But it's likely to suffer the same issues with reliability and resale value as its predecessor. And because of stow-n-go, seats in the second row are not nearly as plush and comfortable as in the competition. That's the one feature where Chrysler has been ahead of the curve, but it has always come at a cost.
