I've known a few highly intelligent heroin users who functioned perfectly fine in society. One is a professor at a major university now and worked years as an engineer with nobody ever suspecting he was a regular user and I know for sure he was high while working.

No argument here, I've known a couple. I'm just saying that if he did too much and was nodding out, it would be difficult to drive.
