Don't forget we got ****** out of a couple 2nd round draft picks in 2012 and 2013. I'm not one to say we could've had X player because you never know who would have ultimately been the pick, but it's still a 2nd round pick regardless. Those are immediate starters/contributors who have Pro Bowl potential, or at the very least, add crucial depth.
No doubt it was a blow to the overall talent level on the Saints roster but now the team is poised to get it together with this draft class and a nice handful of picks at their disposal.
