My last two cars have been BMWs (335i and currently drive an M3) and I've also driven an A6 and Q5 quite a bit - fiance's old cars.

Audi vs BMW is a very different experience. I think Mercedes is a better comparison to BMW when it comes to luxury and performance. Audi is just different. IMO Audi doesn't perform the way BMW does unless you go really high end - like a RS7 or RS5. Even then, their high-end models aren't performing at the track the way BMW and Mercedes are. Audi is more comparable to Infiniti. They make for a really smooth ride though.

Obviously you need to research Audi's racing history... They are legendary. Quattro is king ?.

Personally, I have a 16APR Stage 2 tuned S3 and it is an absolute pocket rocket... I blew by an M3 the other night

I should research Audi's racing history so that I can compare the RS models to BMW's M models and Mercedes' AMG models on the track?

I'm familiar with Audi's racing history and I've actually followed their racing in Le Mans/ Petit Le Mans. Why do I need to know that though to compare the performance of the RS5 to the AMG C63S coupe or the M4?

And lol you comparing a tuned vehicle to a stock M3. You can Dinan tune a 335i to shite on a stock RS5. There are 700hp Evo's out there, riced out, that would blow past both. Why does that matter?

I'm so itching to stage my WRX. But, it's a company ride still in warranty.
