They'll be fine. They've had a failsafe in place since Sir Laurence Olivier announced the winner without opening the envelope (he read the first nominee as the winner, which as luck would have it was the actual winner: Amadeus).

They have someone ready to run out if the wrong name is announced, which is what happened. My guess is that they draw the line at snatching the Oscars out of people's hands or pulling the mic away from them mid-speech.
