I don't totally disagree but I do think you are minimizing his accomplishments. He's accomplished much more than around 6-8 drivers out there
I would also say that I don't think the rest of the field really gives them much of a reason to talk about them. The fans want JR, they get JR

You're right. He has accomplished a lot. I just would have figured he would have a championship by now.

To further my point
Kurt/Kyle/Jimmie are the only ppl out there in this race that have accomplished more than JR and even though he has a championship I feel that Kurt is debatable, especially when you consider JRs two 500 wins
So the only ones in the other race are Kenseth (definitely), Brad (probably) and Harvick (pretty borderline)
EDIT: I got change my opinion on Harvick to probably. I forgot he won a title a few years ago
