Is that shingled?
I thought the roof had to be a certain slope before using shingled roof.
I had an aluminum cover similar to that at my last house that basically gives the same effect. No one could see my backyard anyway so wasn't too worried about how well it matched the house.

It is rolled roof that was heated down it is not straight shingles... I'm not that familiar, and I had the same concerns, but haven't had any problems.
