Yeah I think they charge to reprogram. I would Google and see if it's a DIY job or if you have to have certain equipment.

Fords used to be diy to program keys & remote.
Simple procedure was in owner's manual.
Just make sure all keys & remotes are present, or those not, will no longer work.
