West Jefferson has named former St. Augustine football coach Cyril Crutchfield to the same position, a source close to the situation confirmed to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.
Crutchfield, who accumulated a 22-12 record the past three seasons at the helm of the Purple Knights, replaces Kevin Fox, who resigned as head coach of West Jefferson last month because of family reasons.
Crutchfield is expected to address the football team Tuesday afternoon for the first time.
