quote:
Unger, Streif and Evans all graded out this season better than Project Peat!
Unger and Strief played as well as anyone in the NFL at their positions and weren't covering 2 spots. Evans got to play next to Unger and Strief, and he was absolutely pathetic once Unger went down.
Peat played well for a 2nd year player and certainly looks like a long term solution for our offensive line that adds versatility.
quote:
Armstead would have too if he'd been healthy. So basically PP is our lowest graded starting OLmen going into next year. Nice job for a 1-13.
So, tell me, do you think that Evans is better than Peat?
Armstead, Peat, Unger, and Strief are a hell of a unit. RG is the only weakness there.
Btw, the idiot I quoted was you....
quote:
The constant position change by Peat is "tough to do," coach Sean Payton said. "And yet he's been able to do that."
"In fairness to him, he's handled it really well," Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael said. "I think we try to pay attention to where we think he's going to play that week and get him the most reps at that spot as possible."
And my favorite:
quote:
"It's been fantastic," Payton said of Peat's progress. "He's playing well."
Saints right tackle Zach Strief knows what it's like to be the target of unruly fans, and he thinks Peat has silenced those critics.
"That guy took a lot of criticism for no reason for a year and a half," Strief said. "People are obviously entitled to their opinions -- people who were obviously wrong. And I love that for him."
"I think it's hard to quantify how valuable it is to have a guy that you can start at a position and slide him out to tackle and have him play at a high level," Strief said. "There's so few of those players in the NFL.
quote:
"I'll tell you right now: If he stays at left guard when Terron's healthy, people are going to dread playing those two," Strief said.

Peat will never have the career that Jahri Evans had!!
Since you are so good at quoting, let's revisit this next year and see who evaluated Peat correctly!!!
