I think a lot people are for abortion because it is typically done by minorities and some see that as a way to control those populations. I don't think there is anyway we can ever put that cat back in the bag and it is not a fight conservatives can win. However, I can't say with a straight face that it is the moral or right thing to do except in very specific circumstances.
