Nice. Is he still visiting Bama after?

I think that's the plan. It may be now or never to get him to flip.

NFLU source?

Yep. That's usually the case. Saban is good at closing things out when he gets the last visit. If Allen doesn't flip this week, he'll most likely be a gump.

Agreed but I have to give O a lot of credit. To get him on campus during the biggest visit weekend of the year is impressive.

I like our chances if he rescheduled this late. I think it's happening

shakeup in Christopher Allen’s January plans.
Allen, a 4-star Alabama linebacker commit, will officially visit LSU this weekend instead of heading to Alabama, he told SEC Country.
This comes as a result of Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron spending the bulk of Thursday with the prized Baton Rouge linebacker for an in-home visit.
Allen remains squarely atop of LSU’s linebacker board as Orgeron attempts to keep the 6-foot-4, 230-pounder from Southern University Lab (La.) School in-state. He was originally scheduled to officially visit Alabama this weekend, but is now expected to do so on Jan. 20.
The Under Armour All-American told SEC Country that he had not scheduled an official visit to LSU, but was still considering it as of Dec. 27. He added that both Orgeron and LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda have remained in regular communication with him, even after he committed to the Crimson Tide after Alabama’s victory over Auburn in the Iron Bowl in November.
Getting Allen on campus represents a major win for the LSU staff at this stage in the recruiting cycle.
Allen will join a star-studded cast of official visitors at LSU this weekend, including fellow priority defensive targets such as Marvin Wilson, Phidarian Mathis, K’Lavon Chaisson, Todd Harris and Tyler Taylor. Offensive targets such as DeVonta Smith and Racey McMath will also be in Baton Rouge. So will solid commits such as Tyler Shelvin, Kary Vincent Jr., Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Aaron Moffitt, Tory Carter, Edward Ingram and Jontre Kirklin.

I agree. I'm not so sure the previous staff would have even tried at this point.

Someone just had to be negative but you will probably say you're being realistic

Could be interesting, I'll say that...

Meh. I don't see that with Allen. He doesn't come off as that type of kid. He's pretty low key.

I was being partly facetious, but I think he really wants to be at Bama. I think he may be torn but not as many let on. I'd take him, but after watching his state championship and Under Armour game , I'd easily take Phillips over him if I had to choose.

Something about this has me optimistic.
Every year I tell myself I'm not going all in on anyone ever again. But I'm too invested in LSU not to care each year.
F it let's ride!

We need this kid. And why wouldn't he want to be a star in his home state. The only reason that explains this is that he's just not an LSU fan. Cannot even say Bama offers him a better future as a pro- this is equal or in LSUS favor. Stay home brother.
