Hey y'all. Did anybody who went to college feel like the time after winter break caused more homesickness than the time after summer break. After summer vacation, everything feels new again, the campus is lively, and I am ready to start classes again after a long time off from school.

But, I just got back to campus for second semester, and it is cold, it got dark really early, campus is quiet, my break was pretty short, and I'm not happy with my living arrangements this year, so it kind of makes me sad that I won't be in my bed any longer. Also, I won't be seeing my family for almost two months, whereas during first semester my family came to visit around three weeks after arriving.

Has this type of situation occurred with anyone else? I think a large part of this is that I am not happy with where I am living, but I also am having a hard time currently with readjusting to college for second semester, and it feels like I am more homesick now than I have been following summer vacation.
