Geo Fences

Does anyone have experience with these Geo-fences? I wanted to buy one to keep my dogs inside my 5 acres and keep him out of the river. It seems a lot more logical than burring a line around the entire thing. I was told you can set the markers and put them to warn then shock the dog. Can anyone recommend a brand or give me their experience with these?

Damn, what a great application of GPS technology. I don't have any experience with it specifically, but the idea sounds like something that would be perfect for your situation. If I were purchasing, one of my main concerns would be the accuracy of the GPS. I'll see if I can find some more info on one of the Geospatial forums I visit.
