thoes are entirely different reason behind whats happening in a boat vs a plane...so first off no its not an intelligent response.

a plane produces contrails because hot gasses exhaust into ultra cold atmoshpere causing immediate condensation into visible water vapors


here's a question for you yoga...

plane designers spent a decade designing the air bus to get every last drop of mileage out of the fuselage and the engines....now do you think plane companies are going to carry an extra liquid (liquids are dense and heavy) in this case your nonexistent chemicals in fuel storage and plumbing secretly designed and hidden away from technicians, pilots that visually inspect their planes, manual trouble shooting authors, engineers that actually help build the plane.
