Man so close. Hopefully this is the year. All that being said I get what you are saying about the Steelman kid, but I wouldn't be thrilled to have an officer lead me into battle taht can't hold it together after losing a football game. Im sure that's not a popular opinion, but I hate when dudes cry over sporting events. Its a fricking game.

True.

But it's 4 years of blood and sweat to win that ONE game.

This isn't Vanderbilt losing to Kentucky or something.

Military doesn't forget anything - this would have been on his resume for his career up the chain. A hero, the QB who finally beat Navy.

I'm sure they know it's not life and death more than anyone else knows what's not life and death...and after graduation, it gets real.

But at the Academy, this is their prep for military service, war, etc. And the Army/Navy game means everything to each Academy.
