Well to be fair...my manager actually bought all the stuff with her own money so that we would at least get something. So I wasn't upset at her at all. I thought it was a very nice gesture on her part(it's not like she is rolling in the dough either...she is just a basic nursing manager of our floor).
I was more pissed off at the hospital administrators that slashed our staffing to save the hospital money due to our supposed "budget" crisis. Then come to find out that those same higher ups get six figure bonuses if they can reduce costs at our hospital. They frick over the staff and couldn't even give us any kind of meager holiday bonus or even just pay us time and a half if we were actually working the holidays(they took that away...again because of the "budget crisis").

Bottle this emotion and use it to impel you into starting your own gig where you control everything. You can pay yourself any amount of bonus you decide. Happiness ensues.
