Where are you located and what are your plans?
Central AL.
I have ideas for some areas to get into on my own. Going to have to figure out if I can/want to finish out my state retirement. I could do that working in a DA's office, public defender's office, or maybe the state AG's office. I'm already vested, but the full retirement would be nice. The ideas for my own practice look promising it things work out as well as the projections in my business plan. Going on my own would allow me to be more picky about cases that could be associated with my niche area. I have already put my current background in LE to work in a murder trial for the "other" side and absolutely loved it. Pre-paid self-defense representation for concealed carry permit holders is part of my niche practice area that I have in mind.
