If he makes a reasonable case for that, it will go away. If he hems and haws about it, it will dog him. But he will probably be confirmed either way.

SF operators will go into an AO royaly frick shite up and leave the conventional guy left holding the bag all the while not telling the battle space owner they were even going to be operating in their area of operation. It happened all the time.
