It's a no-brainer for me. Higgins is getting my vote. He'll be a one-and-done, anyway. I have known Scott most of my life. He's the type who would eat his offspring if it could benefit him. He needs to lose by a landslide, or he will never go away. Dude is an incurable cancer.

I've met him a few times as well. I remember a family friend from Breaux Bridge telling me how disappointed people in the area were when Angelle didn't back Vitter. And then he tells me that "Scott's buddies are looking for a position for him to run for." Hence, his Congressional campaign.

That told me all I needed to know about the guy. He's just another Louisiana career politician that the state needs to just go away.
