I think Booger likes Coach O. And everything I've heard is that everyone around Coach O absolutely loves him. He's just got that type of infectious personality.

But similar to many of the fans that support him, it's not really related to his coaching abilities, but rather just a feel-good story about a good guy that got the job he's wanted his entire life. I imagine if you know that guy or feel you have some connection to him, it's difficult not to root for him.
