Only thing that would get me to the polls would be local issues
CA has 14 Republican member delegation in house of reps
Louisiana has 5
Alabama has 6
Mississippi has 3
5 + 6 + 3 = CA
this is one of the weird things about political life in the USA.
since only half the people vote, the ones who sit home watching Honey Boo Boo could elect the entire Congress and POTUS if they were all in.
I think its best they stay home and watch TV. it takes real effort to understand the issues and learn where the candidates stand on them or know if the candidate is just blowing hot air up your pants/dress.
dog whistle politics won the day this time. can't wait to see inflation and the market in two years after Trump and congress address deportation of 2 or 3 million Latinos, and "make" China's Yuan be worth multiples of its current value.
