Imagine what would happen if Orgeron were any good!

LSU averaged 10.9 yards per play against Southern Miss, which is highest since at least 1960.
Against Southern Miss, LSU had more points (45) than plays (42) for only the third time since LSU began keeping records of such things in 1949.
After averaging just 21 points in its first four games,
LSU more than doubled that by averaging 43.5 points per contest in home victories over Missouri (42-7) and Southern Mississippi (45-10).
Guice leads the nation in average yards per carry at 9.10.
This exceptional average has enabled him to reach the 1,000-yard mark in fewer carries than any player in LSU history.
wide receiver D.J. Chark became the first (and only) player in school history to score touchdowns of 75 yards or more both rushing and receiving.
ESPN’s latest Power Index, the Tigers come in at No. 8.
The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength and is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season.
Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.
mixed in with a heavy dose of Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams to produce a whopping 634 yards. That’s the most total offense the Fighting Tigers have ever put up against an SEC opponent, and the 418 rushing yards were their most in an SEC game since Oct. 30, 1976, when they racked up 426 against Ole Miss.
LSU had two 100-yard rushers (Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams) and a 200-yard passer (Danny Etling) in the same game for the second time since 2013, and a total of nine players had receptions on the night, including two fullbacks and two tight ends.
LSU did all this without completely revamping its offense and abandoning its identity as a smash-mouth, run-oriented football team, but by just making some tweaks to formations and introducing a few new plays.
Guice ran for a career-best 163 yards and three TDs on 17 carries for an average of 9.6 yards per carry.

Ensminger
in his only three games as the LSU OC he has seen his offense set three all-time school records, outscored opponents 73-7 in the second half

Also, you see elements that Coach O and Ensminger have worked on using the backs and tight ends more and that element is something Coach O picked up working with Lane Kiffin at Tennessee and USC.

But dude did just coach LSU to its road win in 20 years the week following the Bama game

• Derrius Guice had his best day as a Tiger with 21 carries for 252 yards.
His 96-yard TD run (see video) during the fourth quarter was the longest play from scrimmage in LSU history
the Tigers have now set an offensive school record in four of the five games they've played under Coach O and have outscored opponents 90-20 in the second half of those five games.
