behind Herman/Fisher.

I really don't get the infatuation with Fisher. He's a better coach but he's proven that he can lose to lesser talent. I get Herman but is he really a better option than O? I was thinking exactly like you 4 weeks ago but I've seen 2 definitive improvements with O. Much better halftime adjustments and the ability to lift the team when they are not playing with emotion. Miles could never do that.

Coach O has proven to be one of top 2-3 recruiters in college football. At a minimum, that's a top 3 requirement and maybe #1. LSU has the highest payroll in CFB which should tell you that any HC will have the opportunity to hire the best coordinators. To your question specifically...yes, he should get an edge because he loves La and I believe him when he says that LSU is his dream job. If he gets the job...do you think he'd ever leave for another HC position (college or pro)? I don't.

Coach O is changing my opinion one game at a time. Why not give him a chance to earn the job.

EVERY COACH CAN AND HAS LOST TO LESSER TALENT.

Every single one. Saban. Meyer. Belicheck. All of the above.
