Was at 210 Saturday. Caught a lot of trout but most were small.
Will try by I-10 bridge first then probably head south to Turners then Oyster Bayou for flounder.

Because 5 years ago it was a gold mine.
You could launch at the park and limit out in a few hours.
I learned every spot, every hole.
Never hit rough water, launch is good, bathrooms at the launch, if it rained park under the bridge until the weather passed and caught many 3 and 4 pound trout.
It made every trip fun and easy.
A few years ago I wore out Turners, but it was always hit and miss and weather would be a factor at times. Now that I started fishing without my guide friend I'll start learning my own places and that's fun finding your own fish. I still know tons of spots south, but why waste the gas when you can catch them close.
