This is a good start at an intelligent defense of hiring O. My response would be that these are min requirements of a football coach, and further evidence of the rebound coach.

No one else gets to interview the "rebound coach" by having them coach the toughest part of the schedule before deciding if they are even worth an interview. Regardless of how it plays out, LSU has a loaded hand and gets the ultimate win.
