It's not every week. I can remember only 2 or 3 real meltdowns in his career that hurt his team. Of course, the run in with Josh Norman last season, an unsportsmanlike or two for too much jawing, and trying to f up Kenny Vaccaro earlier this season with a dirty hit. That's all I can come up with. Dumb, but not a pattern.

well, they put a stat on the screen Sunday that he'd be fined 8 separate times for a total of 180k. granted, i'm sure a few of those have been for him wearing the wrong shoes or violating some other stupid rule like that

I agree he needs to grow up-- no argument. Maybe I am giving too much leeway, but his rep is a tiny bit overblown. 8 fines in 3 years is much, but NFL is looking to fine him now.

These fines bothered me less than the others, and I don't think they are meltdowns.

one for taking his helmet off on the field.

One for begin part of a "team brawl".

One for a bs celebration penalty.

One for jawing after getting hit out of bounds in Minnesota.

One for the punch against Duke Williams in Buffalo-- this one is borderline-- he was getting mugged all game, but he should have kept his cool.

I know. Excuses, excuses.
