If someone treats me poorly, I think their an a-hole. If I'm black and the same white guy treats me poorly is that racism?

How do you discern if you are being treated just the same as white folks and the guy is just an a-hole?

I once had a discussion with a 40 something black lady about racism. She said where she grew up you could just feel it. I said what overt act of racism did you experience. She said "oh none, but you could just tell it was there.

I've been treated worse by black people based on the color of my skin then she ever will going in the other direction.

You usually don't. But there are some situations that would make a reasonable person wonder.
