I checked with State Farm today. Have to pay $450 a year lump sum. GMFS will not escrow in because I'm in flood zone X. So, will have to set aside a little each paycheck now instead of signing up right away.
It's not a lot, but a little too much to just sign up suddenly. When you add tuition for the kids, car note, house note, etc.
Kind of sucks, actually. I wanted to go to sleep tonight saying I have flood insurance.
