Yes, as far as the Prairieville-based journey goes, today was by far the worst 1-2 punch of AM + PM gridlock in memory. Going to leave a half hour earlier tomorrow. On both ends of the day. Hope it helps.
I think one major fix needed in the AM is to lengthen the left turn cycle for folks turning left onto Highland towards the interstate. I don't even go that route, but the backlog from that choke point ripples back all the way to the Parish line @ Bayou Manchac by peak rush hour.
That, and tweaks are needed to the AM light cycles for BR-bound Airline traffic between Hwy 42 and Perkins in the heart of Prairieville.
