Several years ago, the wife and I went to Coors field to see DJ play. At one of the Coaches Committee meetings the next LSU season, I was telling CPM about going to see DJ and W/all my LSU clothes on was interviewed by TV station. I told the TV guy that DJ should have won the MVP of the 2009 CWS. CPM told me that the MVP trophy was delivered to his office. He then called J Mitchell and told him, "your MVP trophy is in my office but I have cut it in half and gave DJ the other half". I think this is great story.
