quote: what is a "rapture"? A misinterpretation from revelation scripture that evangelicals believe in You fail to explain how it's a misinterpretation. You believing it's absurd says nothing about interpretation. I agree it's absurd, but I still believe it will happen. As far as the "mark", everyone needs to understand that accepting the "mark" guarantees that person an eternal spot in hell. No one will be "forced" to accept it, but there will be consequences for not accepting it.

Why would it happen?

Also I can't imagine how not taking the mark would somehow be worse than eternity in hell.

That said I also don't understand why in this war between good and evil the Devil takes all the evil doers and punishes them for God. It doesn't make much sense, wouldn't Lucifer want to help the people who worship him, and the ones God rejects?

Beyond me.

Because from the moment you enter this world (a dominion that Lucifer was given) Satans goal is to eternally separate you from the creator. He accomplishes this through deceit and the twisting of truth your entire life. His greatest FU to God is to separate the creation from the creator in regards to eternity. The eternal punishment does not occur until ones fate has been sealed. It is irreversible and is his one and only goal when meddling in the affairs of the creation. This is his only available FU to God. It is not about knowingly worshiping Satan. It is about rejecting Gods grace.
