Yes he did. What I remember most about this game is thinking, "Yes our defense has looked a little shaky in its first 3 games, but those were games LSU knew they would win anyway and was using them to try out things before SEC play. And since the magic is back now, no way a freshman QB making his first road start in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd could pull this off."
By the end of the season we all realized the truth.
