No, but that's not what the question was. I feel this is a six win team. You're not going to set the bar at 6.5 when the original discuss was 7+ and call me an a-hole for not taking the bet.

Yes, he is because you are. Making a bet that the team is at least 7+ wins means that the bar is 6.5. That is what that bet means. Because you know 7>6.5. This is how those bets work. This is what the original bet is that you criticized. The truth is that you are too much of a pussy to stand by your word, and you are trying to hedge on the bet.
