re: Does Anyone Have a Parent(s) They Just Can't Be Around for a Long Time

I can be around my mom but we just never talk. The only time I hear from her is if there is big family news or she has some kind of question that I am the only person she can go to (usually something about LSU football schedule or whatever). Otherwise we go months without speaking and I don't even hear from her on my birthday. Very odd because I felt we had a good relationship when I was growing up. Once I graduated HS and moved out she was still the same but slowly things began to change and she has gotten more and more distant.
