I don't know if this has been discussed or not but want to ask and get some opinions.
Would it be ok in the public view if these officers that work these protest started to wear some Kevlar or maybe had a long gun or two? Or would that look too bad?

I'm not sure what the consensus was on July 6th, but as of today you'd be perfectly justified.
