It took place in July, 1969 just one month before Woodstock.
Here's a 6 minute YouTube video of it with Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin in it.
I remember Led Zeppelin because they performed at night when it was cooler.
There was some kind of metal building there with a hundred or so people standing on the roof while they watched Led Zeppelin perform.
They were all stomping their feet to the music so hard on the roof that I thought the roof was going to collapse.
Fortunately it didn't.

If you knew my mom and dad you would chuckle heartily at this thought. I wouldn't have been anywhere near Woodstock at that time.
