I could see this-- she always had that Cat influenced "better than the bastard" attitude, hopefully she's grown out of it but who knows.

I don't think Jon wants the North-- at least for anything more than a way to stop the Walkers-- if he wanted power he wouldn't have given the Lord Commanders title to Ed. Its actually one of the traits that makes him best suited to end up with it all in the end.
