I agree with about everything you said. I'm an original trilogy nut and I certainly didn't hate the movie, but was very underwhelmed by it.
I literally said out loud in the theater "another Death Star?". And my daughter and I both lol'd when Kylo took his helmet off. And you're right about Carrie Fisher being difficult to look at.
TFA was not a disappointment, but I was underwhelmed.

It's funny that this, a black guy and a female lead are among the biggest complaints for this movie. That's reaching.
