My grandma used to scare the shite out of us, when we were young. her house was scary as frick at night, end of cul-de-sac, you could see the shadows of trees into the house and at times, it looked like people out there.

And this isn't ribbing to make the parents laugh, type of scaring, she scared the frick out of us. Even had one of our Uncles hide in basement for an hour, then when it was bed time, he came in with a knife n shite.
