I am running very low on space in my OS C Drive and need to uninstall a program or two. There are two different line Quickbooks in the List with the same version number. One was installed in 2/15 and the other one in 8/15. Can I uninstall one and not risk losing my files?

When I try to open Quickbooks, it indicates my company file will not opened. I have a feeling that is due to low memory on the OS drive. Therefore I cannot complete a backup.

Any thoughts or ideas?

If you're running that low, a few Gbs isn't going to make a difference

Is this a laptop?

You need to assess what is taking up the most space - programs or files.

If it is files, you can get an external hard drive and move them there.

If it is programs, you need to replace your hard drive with a larger one.

Be careful with that. You better know what you are deleting or you will frick up your PC.
