Everything he said above is great advice. The food trucks are a really cool area. If you want to get some Louisiana cuisine, definitely go to Evangeline Cafe. Thy got some good stuff like oysters contraband, gumbo, and a praline pecan pistolette. If you like Abita beer, they carry that too
