My point was that if he had a larger magazine on an AR-15, for example, he could have been deadlier. Again, I'm not arguing that, but just pointing out this situation isn't exactly a "win" for those who support high-capacity magazines.

True..in the rare actual mass shooting cases yes. Mass shooters are a complete different level of fricked up and with the absence of fire arm availability they'll result to other methods of destruction. One doesn't need a gun to kill a bunch of people at once.

This guy like most of the occurrences only had one or two intended targets more than likely.

While I think mag size restrictions are pretty useless in situations like this , I agree normal people really have no actual use for 100rd drums and such. Though I'm not got tell Cletus he can't have one.. He might like blowing thru a paycheck worth of ammo on the weekends.

It's a slippery slope honestly.
